Parent & Child Together
Mommy & Me
Swim Lessons
A gentle introduction to the water for infants and toddlers — with you right there, every step of the way. Build comfort, confidence, and the earliest water-safety habits together.
What You'll Learn Together
Lessons are warm, playful, and unhurried. We focus on early skills that turn the pool into a place your child loves — not fears.
- Safe entries, exits, and pool edge holds
- Submersion comfort — bubbles, breath control, and short dunks
- Front and back floats supported by parent
- Songs, games, and water-play routines that reinforce skills
- Water safety basics every parent should know

What a Lesson Looks Like
Each session is a private lesson for you and your child — no group dynamics to manage, no waiting your turn. Your instructor coaches you both in the water so the connection between parent and child stays at the center of every skill.

Common Questions
- What ages is Mommy & Me for?
- Mommy & Me is designed for infants and toddlers (roughly 6 months to 3 years). Children must be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian for the entire lesson.
- Does my child need to be comfortable in the water?
- Not at all — that's exactly what these lessons are for. Many children start out clinging to mom or dad, and that's expected. We'll move at your child's pace.
- What should we bring?
- A swimsuit for both of you, a swim diaper for any child not reliably potty-trained, towels, and goggles if your child likes them. A change of clothes is a good idea too.
- Can dads, grandparents, or caregivers bring the child?
- Absolutely. Any caregiver who's comfortable in the water with the child is welcome to participate.
The earliest start is the best start.
